ACCOUNTANCY (ACCOUNTING):- Accounting is to record the day-to-day transactions, of an enterprise and summarize such recordings in form of receipts and payment accounts, income and expenditure accounts, profit and loss accounts and balance sheets.
Accountancy is the study of accounting and Book-keeping. It enables the person studying it to understand and record the methods and principles on how an enterprise grows over the years in addition with the financial position of an enterprise, at a particular date.

ASTRONOMY:
It deals with the study of heavenly bodies – stars, moon etc. (i.e. the study of every thing beyond the confines of the earth.) Astrophysics is a branch of astronomy that deals with the physics and the chemistry of heavenly bodies and interstellar space. One who studied astronomy is called an astronomer.
JOB OPPORTUNITIES: Apart from being a good material in the aviation industries, other research organizations are available for astronomers.

AGRICULTURE:
Agriculture is the entire science, art, and practice of cultivation of the soil as pasture, the production of crops, and it also embraces rearing livestock, forestry, fur-farming etc. Agriculture has so many branches such as agricultural education, Animal husbandry, Agricultural engineering, veterinary medicine, Agricultural science and extension, Fishery, Crop science, Horticulture etc.
JOB OPPORTUNITIES: Agriculture can work in Banks or any financial institution, industries, schools, government parastatals and they can also be self-employed.
REQUISITE O’LEVEL SUBJECTS: Five credits pass including agricultural science, English language, mathematics, biology, chemistry, physics, economics, geography etc. degree programmes require compulsory credit in chemistry for Vet. Medicine, crop science, animal husbandry, Fishery, Horticulture, Agric-Engineering requires physics while Agric-Economics and Extension require mathematics, economics and one science subject.

This is the study of man as an animal and as a member of a society. An anthropologist is one who studied anthropology.
